The Board of Directors is elected by Alnahda’s General Assembly. The BOD is the governing power that sets and oversees the implementation of the organization’s policies and plans. It is held responsible by the Alnahda’s members and it’s sponsors for achieving the it’s mission and goals as well as organizational and financial stability. The Board focuses on strategic planning and it delegates administrative and operational work to the Executive Director.

Dr. Muznah Al-Omair began her professional career as a psychological therapy specialist at the National Guard Hospital (King Abdulaziz Medical City) in 2005. She later joined Prince Sultan University as a faculty member and Director of Female Students Affairs. During her doctoral studies, she worked for two years as a Graduate Research Assistant at Chapman University in California. Prior to joining Al-Nahda in 2022, she served for two years as a consultant and researcher at the Women’s Leadership Center at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University. She completed her undergraduate and postgraduate studies in the state of California, United States of America, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Concordia University, a Master’s degree in Marital and Family Therapy from Alliant International University, and a PhD in Education with a specialization in Leadership Studies and a minor in Disability Studies. Dr. Al-Omair has extensive experience in higher education teaching and has published research in the field of leadership studies focusing on women and youth, as well as leadership and peace models. She is also a certified trainer in two leadership development programs (The Leadership Challenge and Connective Leadership Development) and a certified assessor for the Leadership Practices Inventory (LPI).
